BATTLE BADMINTON COMMENCE
Is casual competition not enough to quench the thirst of battle you feel and need? Fear not. Battle Badminton is here.
10,000 free places are going across England for people to get involved and play badminton competitively.
Battle Badminton lets users find new players (aged 18+) to play and issue and accept challenges to ‘battle’ it out on court
The rules are down to you, only both players or sets of doubles have to agree to the ruling. Players decide when, where and how to play.
Battle Badminton players earn points each time they get on court. New local and national leaderboards mean players can rise through the Battle Badminton ranks. Users can also create their own leaderboards, amongst friends, in workplaces, universities, or sports teams.
For more info visit http://www.badmintonengland.co.uk and become 1 of the 10,000.

SPORTMAKERS IS NO MORE
Sport Makers is coming to end this November.
Sport Makers was a national programme, launched in 2011, to help encourage more people become engaged in sport. The aim was to inspire at least 40,000 people to sign up and do at least 10 hours of sports volunteering; a milestone which was passed on the anniversary of the Olympic opening ceremony.
For Lincolnshire alone Sport Makers helped more than 1500 people volunteer in sporting activities.
Lincoln Sport Partnership said it is looking to follow on from the success and schemes put in place by Sport Makers and will continue to look for opportunities for people to volunteer and engage in sport.
For more information on the Sport Makers programme or to find out how you can volunteer in sport visit www.lincolnshiresports.com or call 01522 585580.
