On Saturday, January 11th, the University of Lincoln Sports Centre will play host to a disabled archery and shooting event, aimed to raise awareness of the sports. The event, which is being run in association with the Lincolnshire Small-bore Rifle Association and Lincolnshire Archery, will have a range of specially adapted equipment, making it open to people with a range of disabilities.
Coaches will be on hand to teach participants how to safely handle the equipment and get the most from the day, which kicks off at 10:30 and finishes up at 16:00. If you are interested in taking part, contact details can be found here (pre-booking essential).
For those of you unable to make it, Flipside will be taking cameras to the event, so keep an eye on here for a full round-up.
