Lincoln 10k Road Race

Over 4,000 runners took to the streets of Lincoln on Sunday 6th April for the 10k Road Race, many of whom donned extravagant costumes to raise money for charity. Among the highlights were Batman and Robin, a wheelchair-cum-tank and a bear in full army gear. There was also one chap, Chris Hall, who ran the entire race barefooted to raise money for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Continue reading

The art of swordsmanship used to be a matter of life and death and, while the stakes are not quite so high these days, the basic skills required have remained largely unchanged for centuries.
